As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Doctor of Education in Marriage & Family Counseling and 60+ years of life experiences, Don McPherson’s focus is on facilitating families (women, men and children) to identify their real life thoughts (i.e., goals) and work toward achieving those goals through assertive skill development. Assertiveness is being defined here as thinking and doing what you need to do to take care of yourself by asking for what you really need without being abusive or hurtful to self or others.
Whether you are single, in a committed couple relationship or a parent it is Life Connections’ objective is to assist you achieve a better understanding of your thoughts, feelings and behaviors, and explore healthier connections to life. *Psyche is from the Greek word for “breath, spirit or soul” and “mcp” is My Center Place. I believe when we find our center place (who we are—really) then we find the “Breath of Life” and then we have found and are part of THE LIFE Connection. My Life Connection is Jesus who said “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.”
What or who is your Life Connection? No one has the right to determine your Life Connection except you. May your Life Journey connect your thoughts (mind/soul/spirit) to your center place and may you find peace, joy, and love. It would be a privilege and honor to walk with you on your journey.
